The Beer & Flavour Fest

Chambly, Quebec, Canada

The next edition of  “La Fête Bières & Saveurs”  in 2008 will take place from August 29, to September 1 at the National historic site Fort Chambly on the banks of the Richelieu River in the proximity of Montreal City center. This great event is aimed at highlighting and discovering the diversity of beers of micro-breweries and home made; justly honored are the richness and the quality of the products of the land where cheese, wine and cider are prepared with love by our own artisans.


La Fête Bières & Saveurs give the opportunity to 60 000 visitors to appreciate the richness of the hundreds of products reflecting the different regions of Quebec presented for sampling. More than 100 artisans and producers in this wonderful industry will be assembled in clusters of kiosks in the park area giving it the rural atmosphere of the Country Fair. In order to take full advantage of their outing and to share the joy with families and friends, large terraces complete with entertainment , will be provided on the grounds for visitors, thus enhancing the enjoyment of a memorable day.


La Fête Bières & Saveurs
is more than an adventure for your taste buds. This experience of the five senses stimulated during this whole event with captivating artistic presentations will be enjoyed by all. Acrobats, musicians, magicians, jugglers, and public entertainers are on schedule. Visitors can admire the mind-boggling pirouettes of circus acrobats. Height, speed and show of strength and equilibrium will carry you off to a colorful world where corporal expression is at it’s best.

Le Chapiteau des Saveurs Métro

A large pavilion fitted with a demonstration kitchen will accomodate 150 people per conference. Under the direction of La Société des Chefs Cuisiniers et Pâtissiers du Québec and it’s President, M. Denis Paquin, and around 30 well known chefs will be at the rendez-vous to share their art and secrets with our visitors.

 

La tribune des découvertes Première Moisson

It's will be a special time to share the passion of our producers and artisans : workshops, conferences and food samplings will be presented.

 





   La Seigneurie des Petits  

An area set aside for activities and workshops aimed specially for families with young children, such as : workshops for developing the senses taste and odour, crafting, inflatable games, and finally a rest area where parents can leave their children with monitors, free of charge for a period of up to 2 hours. A place to warm up baby bottles, one for breast-feeding, tables for diaper changing and an identification service for young children are among the services offered at Carrefour Famille.
